At my core, I am a strategic leader who’s happiest pulling apart problems with clients and creatives alike to make work that feels like it matters in the real world.
However, thanks to my experience, I’ve picked up some core capabilities that I’d like to think define how I show up.

Management & Leadership

I cut my management teeth overseeing a global team of strategists at Contagious and for four years ran the strat department at The Brooklyn Brothers. As part of the executive management team, I worked to define the agency’s values and commercial strategy, as well as cultivate a culture of creative excellence in everything we did. Throughout, I’ve learnt that people who are empowered to be their most authentic selves, tend to make authentic, empowering work.

Consultancy & Facilitation

From building an innovation incubator for Mondelez International in LATAM to facilitating NPD workshops for Diageo in Miami and running strategic roundtables for Nike in London, my consultancy life afforded me opportunities to work in new, almost always uncomfortable, but uniquely productive ways. Trust exercises aside, I love a good workshop and genuinely believe that you can achieve almost anything by getting the right people, in the right room, at the right time. (With the right snacks.)

Writing & Public Speaking

I love an excuse to run my mouth - on paper or on stage. I’ve delivered thought-leadership presentations at conferences across the world, including Cannes Lions where I wrote and delivered main stage seminars that won the public livestream vote for the first four years that the competition ran. I have also contributed to media outlets such as Channel 4 and write regularly for trade press from WARC to Campaign - including a monthly strategy column for Shots. See the Opinion section for more detail.

Diversity & Inclusion

The philanthropic case for D&I in the creative industries is undeniable, but diverse teams who more accurately represent their audiences, simply make better, more relevant work. In 2019 I led a team that developed Night School - a free training programme designed to help diverse young talent make their mark in the creative industries. 80% of graduates in the inaugural year secured careers in advertising, production and social inclusion - helping make it one of Campaign Magazine’s ‘Big Moments’ of 2019. Night School has successfully run for three years since and was been adopted by parent network agency Golin in a US-wide programme still running to this day.
